Our Yoga
Program & Policies
The
Yoga Café offers a yoga program that includes Beginner Yoga, Yoga Foundations I and II,
Yin Yoga,
Gentle Yoga, Flow Yoga for Wellness & Weight Loss. Many of our
classes incorporate pranayama breathing and meditation.
We also offer Tai Chi.
Classes
are in 5
week sessions.
New yoga students are encouraged to enroll in Yoga Foundations I,
followed by Yoga Foundations II.
These two classes provide an excellent foundation to create and develop a
personal yoga practice.
Yoga
Foundations I includes instruction in asanas (postures), focusing on
attitude, alignment and action, along with breathing and relaxation techniques.
This class prepares the student to continue into Yoga Foundations II.
Yoga
Foundations II includes additional instruction in asanas, breathing and
relaxation and increases the base of knowledge of the yoga practice.
Yoga Foundations II is suitable for all yoga students and provides
excellent full body toning, both physical and mental.
Anusara-inspired Yoga
is a fun, energetic class designed to introduce students to a vast array of
postures, therapeutic applications of yoga, breathing and centering techniques.
Master yogi John Friend, founder of Anusara
Yoga, developed the Universal Principles of Alignment that serve as the
foundation of this class (taught by an Anusara-inspired teacher).
It is physically challenging yet appropriate for all levels.
Students are encouraged to play their edge and deepen their practice, and
to open their hearts and experience the joy and freedom that results.
This class is mixed level catering to both beginners and intermediate
students. Beginning students are
afforded the opportunity to be inspired by their fellow classmates; the entire
class benefits from this energetic exchange of heart-felt expressions.
Gentle
Yoga is suitable for students who like to work at a slow,
careful pace, while creating more depth in their yoga practice.
No experience necessary.
Flow
Yoga for Wellness & Weight Loss is dynamic and works up a sweat.

Policies
Note
All class
packages expire after 12 weeks (2 sessions). Classes canceled due to weather
may be made up during the session. Missed classes may be made up during the
current session only.
No refunds except for
medical or personal emergencies. All refunds are minus a $20 administrative fee
and must be requested in writing during the current session.
Tuition is nontransferable
to other students or guests.
There will be a $15.00
service fee for returned checks.
